CINEYIELD prefers government authorities, regulators, public filings, official datasets, guilds, film institutes and academic research. Trade reporting is used when primary documentation is not available.
Source hierarchy
Primary public record · first-party statement or filing · recognized dataset · academic research · attributed trade reporting. Every source is evaluated for what it can actually prove.
Numbers
Important numeric claims carry value, source, source type, observation date, geography, currency, confidence and notes. Estimates publish assumptions.
Licensing
We do not reproduce proprietary datasets, bypass paywalls or treat technical access as a license.
